Snow, Sleet, Slush, and Other "S" Words

Let's add stinky, sucky, and sooooooo cold! How are those for descriptions of this beautiful weather we're experiencing? You know what the worst part is? Aside from scrambling to find last minute child care for your kids that should be on the bus. And aside from a nasty wet/sticky/rat's nest hair day. It's trying to drive carefully, and having the sugar scared out of you when you slam into one of those incredibly ginormous potholes. I'm always afraid I'm going to drive into one and it will cave into a big sinkhole. You'll be hearing about me on the 6 0'clock news. Witnesses will say "It was only a small pothole, and then whoosh - she was gone!" Everyone up here will think I'm dead and buried, but in reality, I'll have discovered a whole new world below, creatures never before seen. Geez, I'm starting to sound like Lopez! When I start talking about unicorns, you know it's time to medicate me.
